With the help of the Scituate MA librarian I have traced the Baker family member who had googled "Clambo" and found my post of 2+ years ago. We had a long and nostalgic conversation by phone, exchanging the history of the boat and the family. He sent a photo of the boat in warpaint as USCGR 820. Although the owner's stories were exaggerated, the vessel had a useful career in WW II and the family is justly proud.
